This is a fun piece of artwork that is sure to liven up any room of the house!!  Especially nice on stretched canvas!!!  A great piece also to  have greeting cards made from on my Imagekind print website!!

I am contemplating doing a Keds Tennis shoe design with this one as well.  If there is any interest just let me know and I’ll work up the shoe design this week.  They are quite involved so I won’t design the shoe unless someone requests it.

…………ALSO…………

Be sure if you can to check out Martha Stewarts show on Monday!!!! She will be making her decision which of the 3 Vincent grandkids she is keeping bred by my good friend Karen Tracy who just got back from Marthas place last week  filming of the tv spot.

THANK YOU KAREN AND TO HER FRIEND AND PHOTOGRAPHER ALICIA SNYDER FOR THIS FUN PREVIEW

And of course my favorite photo of “Journey” below who is the infamous Vincent daughter and mother of this litter Martha is choosing from.  She is quite the flamboyant one Karen and my inspiration for the festive painting above!!

I promise some more “dignified” show photos of Journey later for you all to see too but this shot always reminds me of how much these show dogs are adored and spoiled!.  This was taken at the Chow National specialty during a Parade of Champions event.  Steve and I are so proud of you Karen and what you have done with your breeding program!!

  1. Can’t wait to see who the lucky one will be, and I will try to find  Martha’s  show in Dallas!!  I love the festive pic of Journey who is such a beauty and did so much winning for Karen.  Hats off to you and Karen both for such wonderful Chow Chows!

  2. Hey Kathe, Cathy, Bonnie and Karen!!!  I’m so glad you posted Journey’s info here Karen because I didn’t have all her records in one place…now I do!!! LOL!  I watched Marthas show and it was so cool!!

I think I’ll go ahead and design a shoe from that shocking chow design.  It would really be the talk of the show ring wouldn’t it…smile!  Thanks you guys for the compliments on the design!!!

  3. I had to laugh when I saw that picture of Journey.  She loves to dress up.  I have no problem bragging about Journey.  I am very proud of her accomplishments and I am so grateful to Sandra, Steve and Diana for allowing me to use Vincent.  She was the Top Chow Bitch in the US and in Canada in the same year.  She  was # 2 as far as combining males and females.  She won BOS at Westminster and so far she is the only bitch to win the Breed at the prestigious Eukanuba Invitational and she was only 11 months old when she did that.  If another bitch happens to win the Breed at that show, I will always know that Journey did it FIRST.  She retired from showing at the age of two with close to 100 Breed wins, over 20 group placements, BOS at several Specialties, BISS at a huge show in Canada.  I brougth Journey back out last year at the age of 5 just so she could have some fun again.  She won several Breed wins which put her over 100 Breed wins for her show career.  I absolutely love and adore her.

  4. That’s very exciting, I’ll try to watch! I love Martha!! Cute pic of Journey! She’s a very lovely dog, I remember her.

  5. First of all i want to comment on the gorgeous chow print you did!!!!  it is brilliant!!!  alot of fun color and abstract design!!!!  Just a fun fun “make you smile” artwork!!!  Im excited about the Martha show….gotta put a post it on the tv!!!!  the pups look so cute and that pic of Journey is hilarious!

  6. THANKS PAT..yes most of my bloggers are non chow folks so I was going to put up some articles I have on Journey in the next update.  Karen just gave me permission to post the Martha photos her friend too.  Thanks Karen and Alicia for letting me show these off!

  7. I remember this photo. For those who don’t know, Journey was the TOP Chow Bitch in the country I think in maybe ’03. Karen can give us which year. I think that same year she was one of the TOP 10 Chows. I know Karen won’t brag so I will do it for her. She has done a fabulous job in breeding sound, healthy Chows with the sweetest temperament. I know ’cause I have one of her kids & he is a LOVE.
